If you are looking at this ad then you are more than likely well aware of the quality and reputation of the quintessential speaker and audio specialists Heybrook of the UK and there products which was founded in the 1980's by electronics visionaries Peter Comeau and Stuart Mee. Moreover, the Heybrook name is respected throughout the music industry and audiophile world for there electronic componants and loud speakers.

However, for those of you who are new to this brand what we have here is a pair of Heybrook Sextet Loud speakers in black with polished walnut veneer trim finish. Moreover, while dating back to the mid 1990's and built to a high standard the Heybrook Sextets are a 3 way speaker system with downward firing ports featuring a ribbon super tweeter, midrange and bass drivers which work well with both valve and solid state amplifiers. Therefore, would make the ideal speaker system for anyone looking for a audiophile sound where space is a premium.

With regards to the sound of the Heybrook speakers I can testify that these speakers deliver the goods whether playing jazz, rock, reggae or clasical. Whereby the bass is lean yet deep and not bloated, the midrange is smooth with air and detail along with good imagery and excellent sound stage. While the treble is clean and smooth although not over bright. These Heybrook Sextets are in very good condition with minor scuffs and edge wear marks to the chassis although nothing that detracts from there good looks or effect there performance. In addition, all off the drivers are working as the should. The other thing to mention is that the binding posts don't have any bi-wire links and one of the grille cloths has been re-glued an d as such I'd rate them as 8-8.5/10. Comes boxed with spikes attacked. Although the boxes are a little tatty through storage. Measures 95cms (H) X 23cms (D) X 30cms (W) at the base.

Frequency response is given as 40Hz (+/- 3 dB)m to 22 kHz. Local collection from E2 or a courier can be arranged at buyers own expence and risk.
