The Monitor Audio MR4 utilise driver and crossover technologies evolved from the BR range and improved upon to create a floorstanding speaker with comprehensive frequency coverage, combining detailed mids and highs with deep and well-defined bass extension.

The Monitor Reference range is Monitor Audios range designed to redefine exactly what entry level speakers are about, comparing favourably with higher-priced alternatives putting speakers with a similar cost in their place. The 6.5 MMP II mid/bass drivers find their home in a slim cabinet only 18.5cm wide, meaning that the MR4s bring with them the low-end response of a larger floorstander without becoming overbearing and intrusive on monst rooms, coming in under the magic metre at only 85cm tall. Available in a choice of black oak or walnut vinyl finishes, the MR4 speakers are also available along with the matching subwoofer, surround and centre speakers as part of a surround package. 1 x 6.5" MMP II bass driver 1 x 6.5" MMP II mid-range 1 x 1 gold dome C-CAM Tweeter.
