Sonus Faber Grand Piano Home Floorstanding Speakers

Absolutely gorgeous pair of Sonus Faber Grand Piano Home speakers from the Franco Serblin era. As much as I appreciate modern Sonus Faber speakers, there's no comparision to the classics. You just have to look at the pictures and compare them with the recent ones. The sound is just as beautiful as the finish. Sonus Faber's specialty is palpabilitythe sensation that the event is occurring in your room, or that you've been transported to the event.

This is where the art comes in. Most of all this is a smooth, detailed and attractively voiced loudspeaker of a sophistication unusual at the price. It is notably free of box like artifacts, and it is particularly effective with acoustic instruments - chamber music for example, where its accurate tonality plays a key role, and with human voice.

This is a loudspeaker that understands how to sing. Franco Serblin is an all-around aesthete who knows good food, wine, dress, art, music, conversationand sound. In the Home he's created another gorgeous-looking speaker line with an exquisite sonic balance focused on where the music is: the midband. But more than that, in the Grand Piano Home he's built a speaker that can play louder, go lower, is easier to drive, and has fewer obvious colorations than the originalespecially in the upper midrange, where the GP was slightly prominent.

Please don't confuse these speakers with the Concerto Grand Pianos which have the passive radiators. Excellent condition, only very minor marks that are noticable from close range and can be seen in the photos.

Shows a small knock on the side. The grill has a few puncture holes in the fabric.

These can be seen in photo number 9. Even these can't be noticed from the listening position. On very close inspection in good light you may find more tiny little marks/dings which I would consider'microscophic' wear and tear. Covers, spikes and spike supports are included, see photos. No boxes though, so collection is recommended.

If you can't live without these but can't collect them due to travel restrictions, as many potential buyers couldn't when they were listed last time, feel free contact me, I will find a way to safely get them to you for additional cost.
