Rare Restored Spendor SA3 Speakers - Vintage British Hi-Fi Loudspeakers - With Stands A superb and very rare pair of vintage Spendor SA3 loudspeakers, presented in brilliant overall condition following restoration and supplied with the metal stands shown. The Spendor SA3 is an exceptionally uncommon large-format British loudspeaker, featuring a substantial 12-inch bass/midrange driver, dome tweeter and distinctive front-loaded cabinet arrangement. They are imposing speakers with a wonderful classic appearance and would make an excellent centrepiece for a high-quality vintage hi-fi setup.

The cabinets are in very good overall condition for their age, with attractive wood finish and only light signs of previous use. The speakers have clearly been well cared for and display extremely well. The only cosmetic point worth mentioning is that the original front grilles are no longer present. There is some glue residue visible on the front baffles from where the grilles were previously attached. This could be carefully removed, or new grilles could be made to finish them off completely.

The drivers and tweeters present very well, and the restored condition makes these a particularly attractive example of a very difficult-to-find Spendor model. The open-frame metal stands pictured are included in the sale and suit the speakers perfectly, lifting them to a suitable listening height and completing the vintage look. A rare opportunity to own a restored pair of substantial classic Spendor loudspeakers.
