The only blemish's are on some of the feet (photos 20, 21 & 22). Two of the speaker binding post connector plates are missing but I have them on order. The AAD E-48 is a high-performance pair of 3-way floorstanding speakers from the E Series, designed by acclaimed audio engineer Phil Jones. Built for detailed, dynamic sound and smooth frequency response, these speakers are ideal for both high-fidelity stereo listening and home theater setups. Each speaker features a 20 cm (8") paper cone woofer delivering deep, controlled bass, paired with two 11.4 cm (4.5") custom midrange drivers made from a proprietary blend of aluminum and polypropylene. This unique cone material enhances rigidity and responsiveness, ensuring accurate midrange reproduction. For the highs, a 2.5 cm (1) soft dome tweeter with a silk diaphragm handles treble frequencies. The tweeter includes a rear acoustic damping chamber and integrated pole piece, which work together to smooth frequency response and reduce harshness.
