Bowers And Wilkins B&w DM 683 Mk1 Floorstanding Speakers

BOWERS AND WILKINS B&W DM 683 MK1 FLOORSTANDING SPEAKERS. Speakers are in great condition and fine working order however the veneer is heavily faded (evenly on all surfaces other than one side of each speaker) this is shown clearly on photos 8-9, my guess is the previous owner had the darker original colour sides both facing each other away from sunlight. I would say they look more of a walnut colour now similar to the Pmc twenty series than cherry.

The grills are in great shape with no broken/missing pins. The optional plinths have got a rubberised coating which looks like its degraded/perished over time which is now sticky to touch. Personally I prefer the look of the speakers with plinths anyway. I do have the original boxes and packaging but these are 32kg each when boxed so I would rather them be collected. Collection from just outside colchester.
