The damage is as follows. 2 upper front panel grille fixings have been pushed into the cabinet. 1 damaged front top corner.

A Tweeter has been slightly pushed in No Plinth on one speaker. We have one on order. No rubber feet The Oberon 7 floorstanding speakers from Dali follow Dali's ideas, traditions and technology, in a very elegant and contemporary design. These speakers redefines the possibilities, in sound quality and visual design, at this price. With two 7 woofer drivers and one oversized 29mm ultra-lightweight soft dome tweeter these speakers will deliver a deep bass response, perfect for larger rooms.

Even though these speakers are large, they present sound in a delicate controlled fashion that will impress you with their ability to present your music style with naturalism and lifelike. The two 7 woofers are wood fibre SMC type and are paired with an oversized 29 mm ultra-lightweight soft dome tweeter. With the drivers contained in a large and elegant cabinet, giving top quality deep bass, perfect in larger rooms. Using SMC woofers reduces mechanical distortion caused by hysteresis and eddy currents. The magnet motor system has been improved that results in lowering of third order distortion.

Therefore, these speakers are great for prolonged listening sessions with a relaxed midrange and with more detail than you would expect for its class. The magnet motor itself consists has a large ferrite magnet that surrounds a pole piece which is constructed from a unique combination of iron and SMC.

It is easy to integrate these speakers into any room; the driver materials and geometry have been selected to achieve a wide dispersion pattern in your listening space. The same exact design principles have also been applied to the crossover. The result is a well-integrated sound, even when you are at a significant off-axis position. Having wide dispersion is important, since as you are rarely seated directly in front of your speakers. Another benefit is seriously reduced harmonic distortion and frequency distortion, as these will always be stronger in an on-axis response.

This is also the reason why all Dali speakers are not designed to be toed-in. The cabinet of the Oberon 7's are very rigid, with solid bracings on the inside of the cabinet for added reinforcement.

The reinforcement adds to the stiffness and practically eliminates resonance within the cabinet. The cabinet is built from high-density CNC machined MDF board, that is wrapped in high-grade vinyl. To optimise the timing, the speakers are fitted with acoustic damping material internally on the sides, top and bottom of the cabinet. Dali Oberon range of speakers are the first entry-level speaker to use Dali's patented SMC technology, that reduces non-linear magnetic distortion, so you will hear your favourite tracks like you have never heard them before. Freq Range: 36 - 26k Hz (+/-3dB).

Sensitivity (2.83V/1m): 88.5dB. Recommended Amp Power: 30 - 180W. HF Drive: 29mm Soft Textile Dome. LF Drive: 2x 7 Wood Fibre Cone.

A Tweeter has been slightly pushed in The Plinth on one speaker has been replaced (Not Photographed). Orders placed on a Friday morning will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday. Which is highly recommended for its costs and efficiency. We will always aim to do the best to resolve any issues.
