This listing is for one pair of Franco Serblin Lignea 2-way floorstanding speakers. The speakers have been used without any issues and are fully functional. There is a slight looseness/stretching of the rubber cord on the grille (saran net) around the center area. Because the cord is relatively short, a person with good manual skills may be able to retie or adjust it if desired.
Type : 2-way, 2-speaker, floorstanding bass-reflex system. Tweeter: 27 mm silk soft dome. Woofer: 110 mm coated paper cone (custom-made unit). Frequency Response : 58 Hz - 36,000 Hz. Sensitivity : 83 dB (1W / 1m).
Minimum Input Power : 20 W. Width 500 × Height 1050 × Depth 295 mm. Weight : 16 kg per speaker. The late Franco Serblin, a legendary loudspeaker designer, left behind numerous design sketches reflecting his rich creative ideas. His protégé, Massimiliano Favella, selected one of these sketches with the aim of creating a speaker smaller than the Accordo, and brought it to life-this became Lignea.Every detail of Serblin's original design philosophy is faithfully reproduced. From the careful selection of enclosure materials to the construction of the crossover network, several years of development were devoted to completing this speaker.
The acoustically calculated cabinet features no parallel surfaces and is beautifully crafted from wood. The distinctive rear cabinet is constructed entirely using wood-joining techniques, allowing the compact enclosure to produce a warm, rich, and expressive sound with natural wooden resonance. Lignea is Massimiliano Favella's debut work, created as a tribute of deep respect to his mentor, Franco Serblin.
