Fyne Audio are a relative newcomers in audio, however they have over 200 years experience. The Scottish based company proved exceptional quality finish and innovation with their latest award-winning speakers. Unlike many generic speakers, Fyne incorporate leading edge technologies uniquely implemented in their products. Placing the titanium tweeter within the throat of the woofer produces exceptional musical integration, wide dispersion, and breathtaking stereo imaging. The multifibre cones reduce unwanted resonances to an absolute minimum whilst maintaining maximum rigidity to faithfully maintain musical accuracy. The fluted rubber surrounds allowing lower resistance to cone excursion resulting in natural effortless, life like sound. Unlike many other speaker producers Fyne utilise a unique bass reflex system that channels air down a perforated port to reduce port chaffing. Furthermore, the reflex port is channeled towards the bottom of the speaker greatly increasing speaker placement potential for consistent sound reproduction, and practicality. Real wood veneers are used to produce a high quality finish. This also enhances sound as the veneer improves cabinet rigidity applied using a technique that causes it to tighten whilst drying, detail is brought into focus further improving overall musicality and depth of image. 2 1/2 way, downwards firing port, with BassTrax Tractrix diffuser.
