JBL LX66 Floor Standing HiFi Speakers
If you're looking at this then you know what you're looking at/for! One of the greatest floor-standing speakers to come out of the late-eighties, in my opinion. Known for their huge low end but also surprisingly flat response. I've had these for many years and it's time to let them go. They are, as you can see from the photos, fairly worn here and there. Some of the main'damage' is actually from tape; you'll see some of it is still there but I'm sure it'll all come off - including the residue - with some TLC.
One or two of the dust covers on the woofers are slightly dented too but it doesn't affect the sound at all. You'll also notice that two of the woofers are slightly different - I had to replace them years ago because they got damaged.
Although they don't look exactly the same, they sound amazing and, actually, tightened up the sound a little bit! Due to them being slightly different I had to install them slightly differently to how the original ones are - you might be able to make out the little bits of strong string I used.
