They have been tested and are in full working order. The cosmetic condition is poor. The speakers have suffered transit damage to the wooden enclosures, one speaker has no dust cap and the cloth that covers the drivers is worn. They still work and sound good though.
The Keilidh's floor-standing design maximises internal volume while maintaining a compact footprint, occupying less than a square foot of space. To further enhance stability and sound quality, the speaker is equipped with an integral base plate and adjustable floor spikes. Additional performance improvements can be achieved with optional granite composite base plates, which increase mass and lower the centre of gravity, providing even better stability and resolution. Versatile Configuration Options - The Linn Keilidh supports a wide range of configurations, from single-wired passive to fully active performance, allowing users to upgrade their system in affordable steps. Two-Way System - The sound is split between a 19mm ceramic dome tweeter and two 160mm carbon-loaded polypropylene bass/midrange drivers, delivering exceptional clarity across a broad frequency range. Robust Construction - The cabinet is braced throughout its entire height and contains both fibre sound absorbent material and Linn's Ku-Stone composite surface wave absorbent to minimise distortion. High-Quality Components - The crossover is built with premium components, with minimised wiring thanks to input sockets soldered directly to the crossover. Type: 2-Way Infinite Baffle Loudspeaker. 45Hz - 20kHz ± 3dB (Active). 65Hz - 20kHz ± 3dB (Passive). 8 Ohms per drive unit (Active). Efficiency: 92dB for 1W at 1m (1kHz). Minimum Amplifier Power: 60W / 4 Ohms. 19mm ceramic dome tweeter (used in the Kaber and Keltik models). 2 x 160mm carbon-loaded polypropylene bass/midrange units. Applications: Single-wired, Bi-wired, Bi-amped, Active Bi-amped, Active Tri-amped configurations. Dimensions: 825mm (H) x 200mm (W) x 275mm (D). Adjustable Floor Spikes: Integral base plate fitted with adjustable floor spikes to improve stability and audio performance. Granite Composite Base Plates (Optional): Optional stands with stabilising floor spikes provide increased mass, a lower centre of gravity, and a larger footprint for improved resolution.
