Mission QX-3 MKII Speakers - Matte Black. With a 5 (135mm) bass driver and a ring dome treble unit, the QX-3 MKII use the technologies that were developed for the LX MKII speakers and have evolved to technology to be even better.

The QX-3 MKII speakers from Mission are the smallest of their floorstanding speaker from their new QX MKII range. The drivers for the QX-3 speakers are crafted with acrylic fibre, which gives a sturdy driver with an elegant aesthetic. Normally the drivers used in this price range employ harsh material for the drivers' construction however, the QX-3 speakers go above and beyond the standard expectation.

The result, is that the mid frequencies stand out from the audio signal and are delivered with fantastic detail and realism. The top plate is constructed from a premium aluminium, ensuring excellent stability for the cabinets that are supplied in a selection of classical, sleek finishes. A visible phase plug has been added to improve the expansion in the 10kHz-20kHz range, that reduce any potential loss of high frequency information that emanates from the middle of the diaphragm. The phase plug main feature is therefore to improve the your enjoyment of high frequency detail information. The QX-3 MKII speakers use an inverted driver geometry, with the bass-midrange and treble units being designed in such a way that the soundwaves merge at the level of the listener's ear, resulting in excellent time alignment. The serrated driver surrounds are used to improve the airflow, and analysis and detailed measurement, show the driver and port performance to be smoother than ever before.
