The ZX Series of speakers from Mission joins their many other Award winning products. The ZX series are the most technologically advanced loudspeakers of the brand. These speakers a have been supplied to us direct from Mission. They may have the odd mark on the rear or the side but nothing significant. Mission ZX range utilise purpose designed bass drivers cones, with precision engineered motor systems, and new treble drivers.
Following the Mission; Music leads, Technology Follows. These speakers are fitted with Missions own Ring Dome treble units that have been designed to overcomes the issues inherent with conventional ring domes. With these speakers the dome is formed into two rings, with the voice coil in the centre, ensuring they are accurate and efficient.
The design results are speakers with low distortion and superior performance, at frequencies up to 30 kHz and beyond. The transient performance is improved, as is musical detailing, particularly with the overtones and harmonics.
The DiaDrive bass unit have an advanced aluminium matrix cones which are vented to remove the air behind the diaphragm, therefore, reducing resonance and allowing a clearer midrange performance beyond 3kHz. These floorstanding speakers have been designed to stand above the competition, with luxury in this gloss finish. The trims and driver materials are aesthetically pleasing and complement the technology of the speakers.
