Mordaunt Short MS500 GOLD Floorstanding Speakers (Vintage Hi-fi Speakers). All the drivers are in 100% full working order. I have never played them and instead placed them directly in a storage place where they have been safely stored. They are very beautiful speakers and can make for a fine furniture addition to any décor. In terms of their cosmetic condition, for their age they are in very good condition indeed, however, they have lost some colour namely from the top surface, please refer to the images for your own reference. The original owner really took good care of them, as did I. He never played them at loud volumes and if I remember correctly, they were mostly unplayed. And they are also in wonderfully clean condition. Playing through the hi-fi, the drivers are sounding fresh and new. I noticed excellent instrument separation with a wide soundstage whilst retaining timing, clarity and bass is just right. They are a very mature character and warm, and will keep the lisener focused. No doubt that these are professional floorstanders designed for the serious audiophile only, and it is clearly reflected in their sound presentation as well as build quality.
