Here we have a nice pair of the highly regarded Response D18 floorstanding loudspeakers from British brand ProAc. They are in good condition noting a mark on the top rear left corner of one unit - please refer to photographs - and are in full working order. Special damping and ferrofluid cooled coil assembly. Mirror image offset Crossover: Finest components on dedicated circuit board. Multistrand oxygen free copper cable throughout. The new ProAc Response D18 floorstanding speaker. The D15 has been one of the main floorstanding speakers in the ProAc range for a long time, today the D18 takes performance to the next level. Further improvements have been made from scratch in the cabinet, bass speaker and crossover. The D18 cabinet is now heavily dampened thanks to the use of a new material; and now also equipped with side ducts as in the other Response models of the ProAc range.
A new high-tech bass speaker, it is similar to that of the Response D2, but has a assembly of the largest EXCEL magnet and an acrylic wishbone for phase correction. The result of these combinations of improvements is a deep and exceptionally deep bass controlled, fast mid tones typical of electrostatic kick drums and sweet, detailed high frequencies. Note: Turntable warranties cover the mechanical and electronic components but exclude the cartridge/stylus.
