Sony SA-VF700ED High End Tower Speakers with Active Subwoofers - PLEASE READ ALL BELOW. Floor-standing Design Speaker with built-in active subwoofer. Built-In ACTIVE Subwoofers in EACH TOWER SPEAKER - 250 watts RMS. Beautiful design and very expensive when launched. Made from solid brushed aluminum - each weights around 20kg. Each tower speaker has a subwoofer built in for thunderous bass and is ported at the bottom for lower bass. Comes with cable that connects the Master Tower to the slave tower to power the subwoofer in the slave tower. The master tower has all the controls in the base - power on, phase, bass level, boost etc. Base of towers are finished a lovely metallic black.

Both have the port for the supplied cable to connect the Master and Slave towers. They have been owned since new, and used a handful of times before put in long term storage. Hence the condition is almost mint, hardly any marks on the main body. PLEASE NOTE HOWEVER -since they were in long term storage.

Both towers have slight oxidation to the metal tops - see pics. The Slave Tower has a faulty tweeter and is not outputting treble frequencies - the midrange still works fine. THE MASTER speaker IS FULLY WORKING IN THIS RESPECT, THE SLAVE TOWER TWEETER ISN'T OUTPUTTING SOUND - midrange is fine. In use, the treble on the working unit is so sparkling and clean, extended definition, you will be hard push to notice the lack of high frequencies on the Slave tower unless you go up close.

YOU CAN USE THESE TOWERS AS ACTIVE SUBWOOFERS AND NOT CONNECT THE SPEAKER ELEMENT. MESSAGE ME IF YOU NEED CLARITY ON THIS MATTER. IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THESE YOU WILL LIKELY KNOW HOW SPECIAL THEY ARE AND HOW RARE THEY ARE ESPECIALLY IN THIS COSMETIC CONDITION - THEY WILL FILL A LARGE ROOM WITH BEAUTIFUL SOUND, ESPECIALLY IF THE TWEETER GETS REPAIRED.
