Victor SX-900 3Way Floorstanding Speakers Pair Excellent Working with Stands
The Victor SX-900 is a three-way floorstanding speaker system released by Victor (JVC) in 1988, developed with the same design philosophy as the flagship SX-1000. Every driver uses a newly developed ring-type Alnico magnetic circuit, which retains the excellent magnetic characteristics of Alnico while efficiently removing back-pressure from within the magnetic circuit. The low range is handled by a 31.5 cm cone woofer with a fine cross-carbon diaphragm, the midrange by a 6.5 cm dome squawker, and the high range by a 3 cm dome tweeter, with the midrange and tweeter diaphragms made of Victor's original fine diamond ceramics material for excellent high-speed transient response. The network uses a three-way split construction to eliminate sound-quality degradation from mutual interference, with bi-wire and bi-amp capable input terminals, and the cabinet features a 38 mm thick maple plywood front baffle with a six-sided wood-grain finish and Victor's Sound Intensity G-line unit arrangement for a rich sound field.
