Pair of Vintage B&W DM4 Bowers Wilkins Floor Standing Speakers Audiophile England GC. Tested (01/11/22) and sound great ###128077.
Both speakers are fully working and sound awesome. Some scratches to the cabinets (please see on the photos) but generally good condition.
The one grille come with the badge one is missing. Luckly, the B&W DM4 loudspeakers I'm going to sell belong to the "good stuff" from the past. They were released at the International Audio Fair, October 1972 with the aim of out-performing competitive loudspeaker systems three times the size and twice the price. Not an easy task, I'd say! The DM4 is a three unit monitor loudspeaker comprising a highly developed Bextrene coned midbass unit (DW200/4, designed and produced by B&W), a Celestion HF1300 MkII lower high frequency unit (used also on the BBC LS3/6 and on the Spendor BC1) and a Coles 4001 19mm plastic domed supertweeter.
Dimensions: height 531mm (21"), width 254mm (10"), depth 255mm (10); weight: 11.1kg (24 lbs 6oz).
