I bought my first pair from them around 20 years ago. These ones are active, and contain Hypex amplifiers, which can be programmed by downloading the free application from the Hypex website.

There is ample opportunity to fine tune the built in DSP filters for maximum sound quality. The amp modules fitted produce 2 x 125w rms + 100w on the treble, so plenty loud enough.
